The Role – Cover Supervisor in Education
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and support student learning
- Maintain positive behaviour and a safe classroom environment
- Assist teaching staff in achieving school education goals
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, who enjoy working with young people,
and are considering a future in teaching or school support roles.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with young people or within an education setting (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK and recent, relevant references
- No teaching qualification required – all backgrounds considered
