The Value Match Framework is recognised as a suitable alternative to the Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment Framework (RM6376), providing schools with another trusted procurement route for sourcing supply staff.
Under the Academy Trust Handbook, trusts are expected to use a compliant procurement route for supply staffing, work within the applicable rate caps and have appropriate terms and conditions in place that protect the buyer. While the GCA framework is one of the routes, the guidance also makes clear that equivalent compliant agreements are acceptable where rates do not exceed those available through the GCA framework.
